Mother’s Day is a cherished occasion at Cardinal Place. This May 11th, we’re hosting a Mother’s Day Tea & Music Social to honour the incredible women who have helped shape families, communities, and our residence itself. Our dining room will be filled with floral arrangements, heartfelt stories, and live entertainment as we gather to reflect and show appreciation to the mothers and grandmothers among us.

Support the Alzheimer’s Walk – 9,108 Steps for Windsor-Essex

On May 24th, Cardinal Place is proud to support the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s, a national movement to raise awareness and critical funds for those affected by dementia.

We challenge the Windsor-Essex community to join us in walking 9,108 steps — symbolizing the number of individuals projected to be living with dementia in our region.

Since 2015, over $50 million has been raised across Canada to help provide vital programs like counselling, respite care, and support groups. With over 650,000 Canadians currently living with dementia — and that number expected to rise to 1 million by 2030 — we need your continued support to make sure no one faces this journey alone.

Gardening Club is Back in Bloom

There’s nothing like springtime to get our hands in the soil and our hearts in the garden! Our Gardening Club has kicked off the season by planting vibrant flowers and fresh herbs in our raised garden beds. Not only does gardening bring joy, but it also supports physical activity, mindfulness, and a sense of purpose for our residents.
