October 2025 marks a proud milestone for Cardinal Place Retirement Residence — 11 years of providing exceptional care, comfort, and community to Windsor-Essex seniors. Since opening our doors, our mission has always been simple yet meaningful: to create a warm, welcoming home where our Members (residents) can thrive, stay active, and enjoy every day to the fullest.

Cardinal Place has long believed that caring for our Members goes hand-in-hand with caring for the planet. Our solar rooftop system helps reduce our environmental footprint while keeping energy use efficient. Our raised garden beds give residents the joy of gardening, nurturing fresh herbs, flowers, and vegetables while staying connected to nature. These small but meaningful choices are part of what makes Cardinal Place an environmentally conscious leader among Windsor retirement communities.

🚌 Exploring Life Beyond Our Doors

Staying social and active is a big part of life here. Our Cardinal Place bus takes our Members on regular outings from scenic drives and local cultural events to shopping trips and seasonal tours. These adventures give our members the chance to enjoy Windsor-Essex in comfort and style, building memories and friendships along the way.

Community spirit runs deep at Cardinal Place. We’re proud to support local organizations that make a difference, including Life After Fifty, the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County, and the Run for Rocky Legacy Project, Windsor Symphony Orchestra (Hendel's Messiah), and Our West End (Ward 2). Whether through fundraising, volunteering, or awareness campaigns, our team and residents are always eager to give back to the city that has given us so much.
